Like so many of us 2009 was a difficult year. I was laid off and can't seem to find work at all except for a 2 day contractor position. My husband works - thank God! - but a single income meant giving up many things including skiing and golf memberships. My husband is quite good having lived in Colorado for many years and my kids were really doing well when we last skied in 2007. My son was attempting mogels (fun to watch whether he made them or not) and my daughter was on the blue hills. Me - quite afraid but actually made it down one green! Never did get off the lifts without falling but I started skiing very late in life with a huge fear of heights!
